Bart Conner

Bart Conner is the most accomplished gymnast that America has ever produced. He is the only American, male or female, to win gold medals at every level of junior, national, and international competition. During the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he won double gold with his performance on the parallel bars and as part of the U.S. Men's Team upset victory over the World Champion Chinese.

Bart began his illustrious career in a local YMCA program and won his first Junior National title by the age of 14. Three years later he became the youngest gymnast ever to win the U.S. Gymnastics All Around Championship, and one year later he qualified on to his first of three Olympic Teams.

Bart has appeared in feature films and on television shows such as "Highway to Heaven" and "Touched by an Angel" and, along with his wife, co-hosted his own television series called "Food and Fitness with Bart and Nadia."

He is co-owner of International Gymnast magazine and the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy in Norman, Oklahoma. He has appeared on ABC's Wide World of Sports, ESPN and Turner Broadcasting as an expert analyst and television commentator. Bart has been a pioneer in promoting professional gymnastics opportunities, organizing exhibitions around the country, and was instrumental in relocating the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame to Oklahoma City.
