This site is a comprehensive link library, connecting you to numerous sites on Latin American music organized by region and country, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Jamaica, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and Venezuela. This page is part of the Latin American Network Information Center at the University of Texas at Austin, a tremendous resource for the study of Latin America.

Putumayo World Music
Although this site is devoted to world music more generally, there are many Latin American and Caribbean artists represented here. This attractive site features Putumayo-produced CDs with extensive and informative liner notes, links, ordering information, and a "world music trivia question of the month." Also available: an education kit containing music from 11 different countries around the world, a world map, teacher's interdisciplinary curriculum, and a class set of student booklets.
