MIDIs, Sheet Music, and Software

Allen Tucker's Percussion Page
This young percussionist offers a number of drum roll and college band music files on his page. He also has a percussion dictionary with listings from antraversado to zorro, and sheet music for you to print out.

The Drum Samples Page
As its name implies, there are many drum samples at this site. The Webmaster has helpfully provided descriptions and file sizes, and the range of his sound samples run from the conga drum to the cowbell. Navigate to the site's home page to obtain synthesizer samples.

Drum Score Archive
There is a nice collection of free drum scores and transcriptions from Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Smashing Pumpkins, and other artists. It also offers some midis and scores for improving your technique. You can download all these files and print them out to practice later.

Helix Hand Crafted Australian Musical Instruments
This is a commercial site, but it provides sound clips and photos of many different Australian percussion instruments. Listen to the unusual sounds of marimbas, xylophones, mbiras, boobams, and other percussion instruments here.
